Rotary Roar

Me and older supercar wannabe’s usually gel quite well - I associate with cars that could have been so much and tried in lots of ways to compete with the big guys, even though really they were out of reach. This is why I would usually like cars like the mazda RX7 - they would go down fairly well. But the rotary attempt didnt do it for me - the cars considered as godly such as the nissan skyline gtr and the supra just anhilated it for the same bracket cars - and I would say its due to over-innovation - like the ethereal of cars. There is an RX7 down my street that roars well for its engine breeding - the guy must have done a lot of work to get it too that - he has a site on 1and1 which he always goes on about - but I have forgotten the url!

Barcellona Chicos

I spent this coming weekend last year in barcellona - it was a nice trip with plenty of nice chicos walking around in the sun - all good. The hire car was a chevrolet kalos - pretty appalling car that literally did little good other than to vaguely deposit us from a to b at an average speed. The critical air conditioning wasn’t aware that it was so important and procrastinated for nearly the whole journey it didn’t work - it usually kicked in 10 minutes before we got where we were going to - great if you like hot sweaty cars. Whats worse is that it was violent orange - this thing was almost as bright as the sun and didnt do much for your self esteem. It was a good trip despite the car though - had good fun with my friends and didnt cost a fortune - thats what life is about really - doing something positive with your friends.

Alfa Lover Comes back

Last week I sold a newish (about 2002) alfa romeo to a customer, who was a raving alfa romeo fan. Apparently his second car from alfa he adored the styling, build quality and looks - “to hell with the price” was his exact words. I kinda didn’t like that alfa exactly - in fact I am not a huge fan of all alfa romeo’s per se’, I think the problems stated in the latter part of the 1990’s still plague the cars, but nether-the-less this was a low mileage alfa and I considered it to be a good buy and a good sell - mutually benificial.

This idea was blown apart when the driver brought it back - he said the clutch seems shallow and its just not the same as his old alfa and that he was now going to go and buy a modified car from somewhere else. I was shocked and confirmed in the same instance.

Cars in the UK vs Cars in the US

Model TIf you were to compare the two - UK born cars and US born cars - which do you think would be most likely to win - you may have to choose a range of playing fields to compare fairly - but say you had a “fastest”, a “most economic”, a “lightest car”, a “least poluting” etc. which would you think claimed the victory out of the top ten for each category? Cars in the uk tend to be more german influenced than american cars, or automobiles - but is that a good thing - does a twin turbo lean AMG, Merc or audi lump really trump a big old american lump on the above? I would bet so but you would have to check?

Expanse of Cars Online

Car Driving near the sea

Trading cars for 20 years teach’s you a lot about business, changing times, people, cars, what happens when, seasons and moods of buyers. Since the Internet came along however this is not as easy to gauge as it adds a whole new complexity to trading cars. Whether you buy from a big car marketplace or you just visit local dealers chances are as a car buyer you will first visit their website if they have one and see what they have in virtual stock, from here you can then make a decision on whether or not it is worth the drive. Before the internet you would have just visited the car auction or car seller to see what was available, maybe call them first at most.

My new love - Mountain biking t shirts

I have to admit it I am addicted - I can’t stop buying Mountain bike t shirts, they rock! When I was a kid I used to do nothing but bike around, doing jumps and skidding round trees and such. Now in my adult life I barely get a chance to get down the road on a bike, too busy - is a shame really but now I still occasionally get the chance to watch some mountain biking on tv- things like the red bull mtb races etc - and I still get to wear cool mountain bike t shirts all the time, even if I am old and lazy. Trust me there is little cooler than being old lazy and reveling in youth sports!

Adware killing me

net

I don’t know how much everyone else suffers with adware - but this past week I have had nothing but computer slowdowns. Its usually the oppisite - I am the one that never gets virus’d or spyware or anything - maybe its the good neighbourhoods I hang around in or my cleverness- probably neither just luck tbh. I usually refer to the simple net guide when people ask, because it has the exact 4 softwares I use, firefox, spybot s+d, adaware and avast - and usually I never have problems - I think this weeks issues is just one bug though and I can’t find it with any antiviral tools - damn it!!!!!!!!
